• NO SUNSCREEN: commercially available sunscreens to-date have never required or received any FDA testing, nor offered any testing-based assurances that the sunscreens used in products will not harm your health. It is not widely publicized, that there are natural oils available that offer their own substantial and inherent sunscreen abilities such as Coconut Oil with 2-8 SPF, and Macadamia Oil with 6 SPF. The first ingredient in our LIP BUTTERS is organic virgin coconut oil.
• NO SCENTS: We use no synthetic or essential oil fragrances in our Lip BUTTERS for the simple fact that many people prefer unscented products.
• NO FLAVORS: Most flavors are made from artificial ingredients to offer a similar flavor to nature derived items. Many people enjoy the simple natural taste that comes from raw organic oils. Our Cocoa has a slightly chocolatey taste, our Mango has a simple mango taste, and our Kokum imparts a fresh light taste. ALL ORGANIC and NATURAL!

KOKUM BUTTER is added to the ingredients above to specifically protect lips (the thinnest skin on your body) from damage caused by dry peeling skin by keeping them hydrated and moisturized. Kokum Butter provides a thin protective barrier that keeps a hostile environment at bay. The result is healthy soft and sumptuous lips that are luxuriously smooth. Kokum Butter has a pleasant nutty earthy smell that is rich and buttery in taste. It is non-greasy, readily absorbs into your lips, and resists oxidation. It also offers a high SPF rating of 22 that can protect against the harmful rays of the sun, naturally! Garcinia Indica or Kokum as it is locally known is a smooth white butter that comes from the fruit kernel of an indigenous evergreen tree that grows in southern India.

COCOA BUTTER is the raw organic cocoa butter that we use in our COCOA LIP BUTTER. You will notice a slight hint of chocolate in its taste and smell that is wonderful. It is high in fatty acids which is praised widely for its ability to hydrate and nourish lips while improving elasticity. It further offers an SPF 6-10 protection as a sunscreen by acting as a barrier between the sun and your lips, and is claimed to also aid in blood flow, and slow skin aging caused by harmful UV rays. Cocoa Butter added to the ingredients above make for a healthy, soft and smooth, moisturizing luxury that protects your lips. Cocoa Butter comes from the Cacao Plant, a small evergreen tree native to Mexico. It was eaten, used as barter and utilized in medicine 3000 years ago by the ancient Aztecs and Mayans.

MANGO BUTTER comes from the mango fruit seed and was used in Ayurveda (medicine) and in Rasayana formulations in ancient India. Rich in nutrients such as : Vit A, C, B6, E, Calcium, Folate, Iron, Potassium, magnesium and zinc, it is also full of antioxidants and phytochemicals like gallotannins and mangiferin. Organic mango butter along with the ingredients listed above make our MANGO LIP BUTTER and has a gentle and fresh smell, reminiscent of the fruit itself. It protects against dryness by creating a thin barrier that leaves your lips soft and smooth, it is light and moisturizing without being greasy. Mangifera Indica commonly known as Mango is a large indigenous fruit bearing tree that was domesticated 4000 years ago and native to India.
